How do I apply press on nails?
1. Push cuticles back with the manicure stick.
2. File & buff nails with the nail file.
3. Sanitise nails with the alcohol wipe.
4. Apply an even layer of nail glue to your natural nail & back of the Glazed nail. Or adhesive tabs to your natural nails, selecting the correct size for your nail beds.
5. Align the Glazed nail to the cuticle at a 45 degree angle. Firmly press down & hold for 10-15 seconds to secure.
6. File & shape the nails if needed to your desired shape.
How do I remove press on nails?
1. Soak your nails in warm soapy water with any type of oil for 10-15 minutes. Be generous with the oil and rub it around the cuticles to get under the nails.
2. Use the manicure stick to gently lift up the press-on nails from the side. Re-soak your nails if required.
3. Remove/buff off residual adhesive tabs or nail glue. Store your press-ons back into the box and reuse next time!
Will the press on nails damage my nails?
Our press on nails will not damage your nails if they are removed correctly and gently! Damage can only occur if you forcibly peel off the nails, especially when using nail glue application. The nail glue is designed to be used for long term wear, therefore can be difficult to remove after only a few days. We suggest using the adhesive tabs if you're planning to remove the nails after a few days. Please see the above 'How do i remove press on nails?' for correct removal instructions.
Which nail adhesive do I use?
For short term wear of 2-3 days: the adhesive tabs is recommended as it is easier to remove. Perfect for those just needing nails for an occasion.
For long term wear of up to 2 weeks: the nail glue is a stronger adhesive for longer lasting wear. Perfect for those who want to keep their nails on for an extended period of time!
How do I prolong wear?
For nail glue application: Correct prep & application will ensure long lasting wear. This involves buffing & sanitising nails before application, and using enough glue to secure nails & prevent air bubbles.
For adhesive tabs application: Correct prep will ensure long lasting wear. This involves buffing & sanitising nails before application.
Avoid getting your nails wet for 1-2 hours after application.
Note: Extent of wear is also dependant on your lifestyle.
Can the press on nails get wet?
Yes they can. They are water-resistant, but make sure to wait 1-2 hours after application before getting them wet.
Note: Avoid prolonged exposure in water or oils.
Can I shorten or shape my press on nails?
Most of our press ons are customisable and can be trimmed and filed down to the desired shape and length. However, there are some styles that have some limitations when trimming, such as the french tip styles and ones with patterns at the tip.
Tip: If needed, file the sides, corners and base of the cuticle end of the nail to ensure seamless fit with your nail bed.
Can I reuse my press on nails?
Yes, absolutely! The number of times you can reuse the press on nails depends on your lifestyle and how you wear them. They can be reused many times if worn and removed with care. Always remove any residual nail glue or adhesive tabs after each use.
Tip: You are able to reuse the press ons a lot more with adhesive tabs application, than compared to nail glue application. It is easier to remove the residue sticky tabs without damaging the press ons, compared to residue nail glue.
Are the press ons going to fit my nails?
Each kit includes 24-30 press on nails with 12-15 different sizes, designed to cater to most nail sizes. If you find a nail that is almost the perfect size, but slightly too big, then use the nail file included to shape down to the correct size.
Can I exchange or return my nails?
